you can do
for Your Feet
There are other
minor, but very important things you can do to keep your feet healthy.
- Wear well-fitting
comfortable shoes made of leather or canvas that will stretch
to accommodate your feet.
- Wear shoes
that are wide at the forefoot.
- Avoid shoes
with high heels or narrow toe areas.
- Follow a
good footcare regimen, including washing your feet in warm water,
drying them well and moisturizing them with lotion.
- Avoid walking
barefoot indoors and outdoors.
- Always wear
socks made of a breathable material such as wool or cotton.
- Wear socks
with shoes to help prevent blisters.
- Ensure that
your shoes are kept in good condition, inside and outside.
- Make sure
your footcare insoles and heel products are checked and replaced
as necessary.
- Stretch
your feet and calves.
